5.6.3 Accessioning

Accessioning of computer media is a multi-step process involving the transfer, stabilization, and secure storage of content off the source media. Beinecke, along with other Yale special collections, submits its computer media to the the Digital Accessioning Support Service for content capture and metadata creation. Consult the appropriate staff member regarding submissions to the Digital Accessioning Support Service.
