Material housed in an oversized container should be listed where it is most appropriate to file them intellectually, even if materials from different series are housed together in the same container. This may mean that a box inventory is not listed in sequential numerical order, which is fine. Example:

Box 2
Also, the indicator for an oversize container must always include the word oversize in parentheses (as seen above) to facilitate retrieval by Access Services staff.
